Find the Easter Story Stones

A donkey – Jesus rode on a donkey into Jerusalem, and the celebrating people there laid down their cloaks in front of him


A palm frond- Palm branches were waved during Jesus’ entry to Jerusalem.


Loaf of bread and cup – Jesus shared bread and drink with his followers at the Last Supper.


Praying hands – Jesus went to the Garden of Gethsemane to pray.


Silver coins – Judas betrayed Jesus for 30 silver coins.


Braided rope-Jesus was whipped.


Crown of thorns – The soldiers placed a crown of thorns on Jesus’ head.


Purple robe- Jesus wore a purple robe and the crown of thorns when presented by Pilate to the crowd.


Single cross – The crowd yelled, “Crucify him.”


Nails- Nails were driven into Jesus’ hands and feet.


Spear- A soldier pierced Jesus’ side with a spear.


Empty Tomb – Jesus has risen from the grave and now sits at the right hand of God the Father, praying for us all!!


Risen Jesus – Jesus has triumphed over death so we are all raised to new life!
