St Peter’s Praise

Relaxed, informal and friendly with more modern worship music.  If you’ve never been before, why not try St Peter’s Praise at 10am tomorrow?  All are welcome at St Peter’s Church, Gustard Wood (just past Mid Herts Golf Club on the way to Kimpton).

Do you have questions?
Last chance to sign up for some answers!

Alpha is an opportunity to bring your questions and thoughts on life and faith to a group for discussion in the context of the Christian faith. It’s about encouraging a curious attitude rather than us providing answers. Each week we will begin with a meal, watch a short video and hopefully have a stimulating discussion.

Our Alpha course starts on Wednesday 11th January 2023 from 7:30pm to 9:30pm at The Rectory. It runs weekly for seven weeks from 11th January to 22nd February.

To book your place, email office@sth-stp.org or call the Church Office on 01582 834031

Thank You!

Your ink cartridges have already raised more than £50 for our church!

If you have ink cartridges lying around at home and would like a quick and easy way to recycle them, bring them to St Helen’s Church!

Do your bit to save the planet  – just pop them into the box in the Chancel.

*Please note: we can only recycle ink cartridges, not laser or toner cartridges

COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS DINNER SUCCESS!

Aside from the red cabbage that was left forgotten in the saucepan, the Community Christmas Day Lunch at the Chapel Halls was a fantastic success. The event was for individuals and couples who would otherwise be spending Christmas alone, and a lovely Ukrainian family also joined us. With a raffle, viewing of the King’s Speech, and even a round of Twister, a wonderful day was had by all. Everyone went home with new friends made, a present from under the tree, and feeling rather replete!

We are raising money for the St Albans & District Foodbank – if you are able to donate please do so via this link https://www.justgiving.com/page/wheathampstead-stalbansanddistrictfoodbank.

With thanks for the generous support of 18 local businesses, and many kind Wheathampstead residents.
