EASTER SUNDAY SERVICES

Join us in St Helen’s Church at 10am for our Easter Communion Service. Our guest, Archdeacon Charles leads this special service – do come and listen to his Easter message! This service will be followed by an Egg Hunt in the Churchyard. If you can’t join us in church, please join us online. Click here or on the image above for the YouTube link.

Join us at St Peter’s Church at 5.30am for Easter Sunday’s Son Rise Service. This is an AMAZING service to be a part of.  We begin in darkness and light the new Easter candle from the fire, and receive Communion as dawn breaks.  It’s followed by a cooked breakfast and fizz!

You are welcome to park in the Mid Herts Golf Club car park. Please park your car as far to the right as possible and avoid any coned off areas.

Join in St Helen’s school Easter Egg hunt with your mobile phone and QR codes and claim your egg from school after the holidays – £4 per ticket which guarantees you an egg.

Vacancy Prayer Themes for 9th April

  1. Please pray for the unity of the church and its mission to serve the wider community. It is important that the church stays together during this time.
  2. Please pray for support for the paid staff of the church, it’s church wardens and PCC who have taken over the day to day running of the church. It is important that no one feels overwhelmed or overworked.
  3. Please pray that people will continue to take up roles and responsibilities, that there will be more volunteers, and the workload will be shared out in larger groups.
  4. Please pray for wisdom and direction for the leadership of the church until our new Rector Andy joins us.
The usual Morning Prayer sessions will continue to run in church (Monday and Tuesday) and on Zoom (Monday – Wednesday).
