SUNDAY’S SERVICES

Tomorrow is the nearest Sunday to the Feast of Candlemas (Feb 2nd). Candlemas, 40 days after Christmas, marks the turning point between Christmas and Easter in the liturgical calendar. Join us in St Helen’s Church for our Parish Communion Service at 10am.  If you can’t join us in church, please join us online.  Click here or on the image above for the YouTube link or click here to view from our website.

All are invited to join us at our first Evensong of the year. 6pm at St Helen’s Church.

If you can’t join us in church for the service, please join us online. Click here or on the image for the YouTube link or click here to view from our website (underneath the morning service).

Energy Fund

A big Thank You to the many people who donated so generously to the Energy Fund. So far we have received nearly £5,500 in donations and most of these included gift aid which takes the total up to £6,700. We really do appreciate every donation, both large and small, especially at this time when as individuals we are all facing increased costs.

The Energy Fund will help us continue to minister and maintain St Helen’s Church as a warm and vibrant hub at the heart of our community.

We are expecting the cost to increase by more than £12,000 this year.

The fund remains open and further donations can be made via the contactless card reader in church, or by clicking on this link Energy Fund, or by a bank transfer – account details available here. If you would like to gift aid your bank transfer donation, please contact our treasurer, Madeleine

Pancake Party
We are organising a pancake party for all-ages on Shrove Tuesday (21st February) from 5pm at the Chapel Halls.  Like the Summer BBQ, this is a great way to express the unity in our church family and mix with members of different congregations and all ages. Put the date in your diary and let us know if you’d like to help.
