So, it is important for us to have your feedback and opinions on how YOU experience the culture in our church community.
The link below will take you to a short, anonymous online survey. It only take a few minutes (less than 5 minutes – honestly!), so why not do it NOW, before you get distracted!
At St Helen’s and St Peter’s we take Safeguarding very seriously – but we are aware there is always room for improvement.
Thank you to everyone who has already completed the survey – please only fill it in once! (Paper copies are available in church)
Many thanks for your help with this. The Safeguarding Team Richard Banham, Helen Caldwell, Britt Dahle, Jez Hirst, Sabrina Shafer.
Help! Enthusiastic Singers needed to Spread Christmas Cheer
We need your help! There are several members of our congregation and wider community who are housebound and would be greatly cheered by a brief visit from Carol Singers. So, please come and join us on Tuesday 17th December starting at 5pm as we travel round the village spreading joy as we go.
We will meet at MacIntyre Home on the High Street. For our planning it will be important to know numbers, so please click here if you can help and we will send you further details.
Remember, you don’t need to be a great singer – we are looking for cheerful and enthusiastic!
You may recall that last Christmas we bought into the charity ‘Christmas Lunch on Jesus’ (CLOJ) and delivered Christmas lunch hampers to local families a few days before Christmas Day.
We will be doing the same this year and already have 20 families who we will be gifting these to and delivering the afternoon of Sat 21st Dec. If you or anyone you know, needs a little extra help with food at the moment, then please confidentially let Richard or Helen Caldwell (07974 762997) know.
Each hamper costs £35 so if you would like to buy a family in need Christmas dinner, then please make a donation to the St Helen’s Community Fund by clicking here.Donations can also be made by cash, or debit/credit card using the contactless device in church.
We also would love it if 10-20 members of the St Helen’s family would be able to deliver one or two hampers around Wheathampstead on Sat 21st Dec and spread the Christmas cheer – many hands make light work! Please let Helen know if you would like to volunteer.
