DIARY  CHANGES DURING THE EASTER HOLIDAYS
30th March – 12th April 2026

  • Coffee in the Chancel will be closed on Mondays during the holidays. Tuesday and Saturday open as usual. Normal operating hours resumes Monday 13th April,  9.30–11.30AM.
  • ‘The Ark’ Parent-and-Toddler group resumes on Wednesday 15th April at 9.30AM, St Helen’s Church.

 

 

 

NOTICE OF REVISION OF CHURCH ELECTORAL ROLL

Notice is hereby given that the the Church Electoral Roll of the above parish will be revised by the Parochial Church Council*, beginning on Tuesday the seventh day of April 2026, and ending on Friday the tenth day of April 2026.

After such Revision, a copy of the Roll will forthwith be exhibited on, or near to, the principal door of the Parish Church for inspection.

Under the Church Representation Rules any persons are entitled to have their names entered on the Roll, if they are baptised, of sixteen years or upwards, have signed an application form for enrolment and declare themselves either –

  • to be a member of the Church of England, or of a Church in communion therewith, resident in the parish; or
  • to be such a member and, not being resident in the parish, to have habitually attended public worship in the parish during a period of six months prior to enrolment; or
  • to be a member in good standing of a Church which subscribes to the doctrine of the Holy trinity (not being a Church in communion with the Church of England) and also prepared to declare themselves to be a member of the Church of England having habitually attended public worship in the parish during a period of six months prior to enrolment.

Forms of application for enrolment can be obtained from the noticeboards at St Helen’s Church and St Peter’s Church. You may also download the form which should be returned, if possible, in time for the Revision. You may also enrol online via this link.
 If you are already on the roll, you do not need to fill in a form.

Any error discovered in the Roll should be reported to Judith Lambert. Church Electoral Roll Officer.

You’re Invited!

On Easter Monday, 6 April, join a thousand other pilgrims at St Albans Cathedral for a joyful pilgrimage and service that brings people together from across the Diocese. It’s a day for everyone— grandparents, parents, young people, kids, and even dogs (muddy boots welcome).

Arrive at the Cathedral to gather on the beautiful Abbey Orchard before heading inside from 2:30PM for an informal service at 3PM.
