St Helen’s and St Peter’s Golf Day
A total of 35 people enjoyed the St Helen’s and St Peter’s golf day at Mid Herts golf club last Friday.  There were 21 golfers with handicaps ranging between 12 and 48 who played either 9 or 18 holes, while 28 gathered for a splendid post-game dinner.  The winners of the Debenhams Ottaway Claret Jug were David Hartley, one of our churchwardens, and a new resident in the village, David Hilton.  Debenhams Ottaway partner Andrew Yates and David Hilton (again) were runners-up on countback.  The 9 hole singles competition was won by Paul Dyson, with Cathy Honey as runner-up.

Community Larder 2023
This summer holiday, we are providing free food to those in need in the community. In order to provide a more friendly welcome. anyone who visits the larder will be helped by a volunteer from St Helen’s Church or the URC and there will be refreshments available.  The last session will be on Bank Holiday  Monday, 10am – 12pm, in the Chapel Halls on Brewhouse Hill.
