The Church of England congregation in Kyiv, capital of Ukraine, has asked Anglicans to pray for peace. Join us in prayer for Ukraine at St Helen’s Church where there is a prayer station set up in the chancel alongside space for people to reflect. Available during opening hours (9am – 4pm).

Ash Wednesday marks the start of Lent, a season of reflection taking us on a journey with Jesus to the events of Holy Week and Easter.

All are welcome to join us at 8pm for our Ashing Service in St Helen’s Church. 

 
40 Green Ideas for Lent 2022

This Lent we have assembled 40 Green Ideas to help us take better care of the world that God has given us.

Click here for this week’s 5 ideas – for Ash Wednesday to the First Sunday in Lent. No one will be able to do all of them, but any of us can do some of them. Let’s use them to help lighten our footprint on our wonderful world as it comes under increasing pressure from human activity.
