Within the parish we are one church community, but we offer a variety of worship styles.   How will you choose to worship this Sunday?

 
Join us in St Helen’s Church for our more traditional morning service at our 10am Parish Communion Service. If you can’t join us in church, please join us online.

Kids Worship

Join us in St Helen’s at 3.30pm for fun, informal worship with songs, stories and craft. Especially suitable for primary age children and smaller siblings, but all are welcome.

This week refreshments in the Chancel return before the service.

Living in Love and Faith – discussion after the 10am Service Sunday 27th Feb.
Join us at our 10am service next week and stay afterwards to join a discuss led by Bishop John on the Church of England’s excellent resource on human identity, relationships, marriage and sexuality.  This might not be something you normally discuss over coffee, but these are huge issues facing the church and society and it would be good to be well informed.
The discussion will be from approx 11:15 and will finish by 12:15pm

LENT COURSE 2022
Wheathampstead Churches Together is pleased to be able to offer an “in-person” Lent course again this year, with sessions held at each of the three churches in the village. The course will be based on material from Inclusive Church which is designed for groups to explore how churches can welcome and include everyone regardless of issues such as disability, mental health, sexuality, poverty, ethnicity and gender.

The course is made up of six sessions.  A choice of times and venues is offered.  The course will begin after Ash Wednesday (March 2nd) and will end before Easter (April 17th). If you are interested in attending, please sign up by clicking here to indicate your preferred day/time slot. You can also sign up via paper forms in church.

Harpenden Child Contact Centre
Are you interested in helping children from separated families keep in touch with both parents? Harpenden Child Contact Centre, based in All Saints Church hall, Harpenden (on the 2nd and 4th Saturday afternoon of each month),  provides a safe place for children to meet their non-resident parent. HCCC  Trustees are looking for a new Co-ordinator to provide good leadership to our teams of volunteers and an effective service for families. This is an immensely rewarding role; the Co-ordinator will work from home but on occasions will also attend Contact sessions.  If you are interested, please contact our Coordinator Ken Brennan on 07913 761167
