Easter Sunday Services

Join us in St Helen’s Church for our Easter Sunday
All-age Communion Service
at 10am.
If you can’t join us in church, please join us online.

If you’ve never been before, the 5am Son-rise service is really worth getting up early for… Not just because we serve a delicious breakfast (including fizz!) straight afterwards, but mainly because it is the authentic Easter experience as we journey ‘early in the morning, before it was light to the tomb to find that “He is not here, He has Risen!” ‘

Do leave an extra few minutes for the journey because of the diversion via Marshalls Heath Lane and The Slype.

The 10am All-age Communion Service in St Helen’s is followed by an Easter Egg Hunt, which will start shortly after 11am.

2nd – 18th April

  • Coffee in the Chancel – Normal opening hours resume Tuesday 19th April
  • Following the Message – resumes at 11.15am on Monday 25th April
  • The Ark Parents and Toddlers Group – resumes at 9.30am on Wednesday 27th April
  • St Helen’s Fellowship – resumes at 2.45pm on Thursday 21st April

An Important Date!
Annual Parochial Church Meeting
Wednesday 4th May at St. Peter’s at 7:30 pm
All are welcome at our APCM (refreshments provided) which offers you a report on Church activities in 2021 and the financial statements for that year. As we emerge from a period of uncertainty, we must look to the future as our churches come back to life.

We are very keen to be strengthened by new faces on our Parochial Church Council (PCC). The “Job Description” is people committed to our new vision of “Living God’s Love in our Community” and able to help us work so we can make a difference for the people of Wheathampstead and Gustard Wood. PCC Members are leaders in our church and trustees of our charity.  More info from Stephen (PCC Secretary) 01727 863490
