As we emerge from the the pandemic we are here to help you navigate your way forward.  Join me as we put our “Best Foot Forward”, a circular walk from St Helen’s Church. Together we will reflect and learn from the past year, so we can face the future well.

We shall be walking in small groups, at a gentle pace and taking regular stops, to create space for our own personal reflection, as well as giving us the chance to share our experiences of the pandemic with others. Although this is a church-led initiative, we welcome all and will shape the tone of the walk to suit the participants.

Feedback on the two pilot sessions has been overwhelmingly positive. But don’t take my word for it, here’s a taste of what other wrote…
“A very helpful format”; “I loved the simplicity”
“One of the most helpful things I’ve done in lockdown and really insightful.”
“Extremely valuable and helpful” and “really positive.”

Sessions available on Wed 2nd June (pm) and Sat 5 June (pm).  Click here to book a place.   Alternatively, if you have any questions, you can email me by clicking here.

One final comment… “Allowing nature to be part of our healing as a church family in this way is inspired!”  I look forward to walking with you – Richard

CHRISTIAN AID WEEK: 10-16 MAY

Wheathampstead’s churches have a long tradition of generous support for Christian Aid Week, helping some of the world’s poorest communities.

You can still donate to this year’s appeal online through the Wheathampstead Churches Together Christian Aid Just Giving page here.  If you prefer donating with a traditional red envelope, those are available at the back of St Helen’s church.  Please return them at Sunday services in May or to the church office or contact Simon Best (by email or 07786 704353) to arrange collection.

The 2021 appeal focuses on climate justice and particularly on how providing clean water to villages in Kenya can make a significant difference to their ability to support themselves, despite the effects of climate change.

All are welcome to come to St Helen’s Church for Sunday morning worship.

Capacity is limited and you are expected to observe appropriate Covid guidelines including the use of face masks, hand sanitiser and social distancing.  Please do not come if you are feeling unwell, or have any symptoms of Coronavirus.

The service will livestream on our YouTube channel and website. Click here- or on the image above to join our 10am live-streamed Parish Communion service. Or click here to view it via our website.

Stay connected to the church family and join us for Coffee after the service from 11am. Click here,  to join the Zoom gathering. If you need to enter them manually, the details for the Zoom meeting are:
