Wondering if there’s more to life? Come to Alpha and explore the Christian faith together. It’s for anyone who’s curious – even, or especially, if you’ve got doubts.
No judgement, no pressure.
The sessions are informal and relaxed: we begin with a meal (please let us know if you have dietary requirements), then watch a short video which unpacks a big question of life, faith and purpose and is designed to spark conversation.
Come along, see what you think. No obligation taster session on Wednesday 5th February 2025 from 7:30pm to 9:30pm at The Rectory. Email office@sth-stp.org to book your place.

Following our successful Ofsted inspection last summer, St Helen’s School are recruiting a Chair of Governors to work with our new headteacher and build on our recent success.
The Chair’s role is important and rewarding. Governors make a real difference to the children in the school, and the Chair provides essential strategic leadership. As a Church of England school, we welcome pupils from every part of our community. The new chair does not need to be a Christian, but they will be committed to maintaining the school’s distinctive Christian ethos. A background of strategic leadership, education or governance would be an advantage.
If you, or someone you know might be interested in applying, speak to Richard, or email him on RevRichB@gmail.com
