Archbishops’ response to national press coverage
on the Church of England
The Archbishops of Canterbury and York have responded to an article which was published last week in the Spectator. Please click on the link to read their response. I hope you find it measured and reassuring.

Prayer for the Nation

The Archbishops have also encouraged us all to pause and pray at 6pm each day, you can read more about it here in the letter they wrote. To see the prayer for the nation, please click here.

The Church of England has produced a leaflet with prayers for each day of the week.  You can download it here, or pick up a copy from the back of St Helen’s church.

Letter of Thanks from Bishop AlanBishop Alan has written to thank the congregation for the generous support you have shown – for both our community and church – during the pandemic. In his letter, he encourages us to continue to support one another in 2021 and to pray together as we face the challenges ahead. To read his letter in full, please click on this link.
