Join us at Mossy Church this Sunday at 3.30pm at St Peter’s
We will be “considering the birds of the air” – An informal outdoor form of worship for all ages. We’ll make bird cake to feed our feathered friends and listen and look for signs of birds. All welcome.

An Important Date!
Annual Parochial Church Meeting
Wednesday 4th May at St. Peter’s at 7:30 pm
All are welcome at our APCM (refreshments provided) which offers you a report on Church activities in 2021 and the financial statements for that year. As we emerge from a period of uncertainty, we must look to the future as our churches come back to life.

We are very keen to be strengthened by new faces on our Parochial Church Council (PCC). The “Job Description” is people committed to our new vision of “Living God’s Love in our Community” and able to help us work so we can make a difference for the people of Wheathampstead and Gustard Wood. PCC Members are leaders in our church and trustees of our charity.  More info from Stephen (PCC Secretary) 01727 863490  stephen.wilson02@hotmail.co.uk

Can you take 300,000 steps in May to raise funds for Christian Aid Week?

If you usually aim to achieve 10,000 steps a day, why not join Christian Aid’s “300,000 steps in May” challenge and help raise funds to fight hunger?  Sign up here and get the t-shirt.   For the less energetic of us, there will be details of other ways to donate to this year’s Christian Aid Week appeal in the weeks ahead.

All are warmly invited to the
Ascension Day Service, Thursday, 26th May, 8pm.
at St Nicholas Church, Harpenden

Bishop Michael Hertford will be preaching.
We say thank you to Richard Banham for being Rural Dean.
Dennis Stamps is installed as the new Rural Dean, and Jo Burke is installed as the Assistant Rural Dean.

All welcome to this free concert in support of Ukrainians – donations will go to the DEC (Disaster Emergency Committee)

Organised by Claire Partington, with a collection of classical and contemporary music performed by her young musicians.
