Children, Youth & Schools
St Helen’s and St Peter’s Church take very seriously its responsibilities to protect and safeguard the interests of children who attend our church services and who participate in activities organised by the church; please see our Safeguarding Procedures.
If you have a child for whom you wish to submit an application to a church school, please read the following leaflet – School Applications Leaflet
Our Churchyard
St Helen’s Churchyard is special because it has been set aside as a Christian place of burial for our parishioners. It is a place of peace and tranquility where precious memories can be cherished. If you are arranging a burial, you may find this Guide for Churchyard Users useful.
We have a designated area for the burial of ashes: our Garden of Remembrance. This Burial of Ashes Information Sheet may be useful if you are planning the interment of ashes of your loved ones. You may also wish to order a plaque to mark their resting place – please complete this form and return it to the Parish Office: Memorial Plaque Application form.
