SUNDAY’S SERVICE
Join us in St Helen’s Church for our All Age Communion Service at 10am. If you can’t join us in church, please join us online.  Click here or on the image above for the YouTube link.

Richard and Claire move to Watford in July.  In this short video taken from our Palm Sunday service, Hilary one of our Churchwardens interviews Richard.  Watch to find out what is happening before they go, and perhaps most importantly – what is the process for appointing the next Rector.  We are really keen to keep you updated on progress, so please click here if you have any questions and we’ll try and answer them for you.
Re-ordering Proposals for St Helen’s Church

There is a Presentation on display in the Chancel for the next 4 weeks of Re-ordering Proposals for St Helen’s Church. These Proposals will enable our Vision as we strive to address our needs to render our St. Helen’s church building a truly vibrant hub at the heart of our community with buildings fit for God’s mission in 21st century Wheathampstead.

Please have a look at them and feel free to comment on them using the reply slips and box provided.

There will be a short presentation of the design proposals at the APCM on Tuesday 6th May at 7.30pm.

“More Tea Anyone?”

Imagine hearing the clink of vintage crockery and seeing a mouth-watering array of plumptious scones, delicate sandwiches and delicious cakes, all laid out in our own St Helen’s Church.
What could be a better way to spend a May afternoon?

Bookings are now open for the Haven Hope Afternoon Tea,
hosted at St Helen’s Church, Wheathampstead, AL4 8AA

Tickets are £20 and all proceeds go towards funding much-needed work to support young people’s mental health. Places are limited so please click here to book your tickets now.

You are invited to our charity partner, Azalea’s Brewing for Good benefit dinner on 15th May 2025 to raise vital funds for our Beans on Board Mobile Coffee Van. Join us to gain a flavour of the coffee van, glimpse the impact it will have, and even be in with a chance of winning a prize or two yourself.

Expect to celebrate, expect to be cherished and expect to launch with us, this brand new venture that will bring hope and relief to survivors of sex trafficking across Bedfordshire (as well as seriously good coffee to deserving customers!) Buy your ticket HERE

Can’t wait until then? Then join us at our prelude event, a Clothes Swap on the 26th April 2025, as we swap clothes and stories, and enjoy coffee and cake in honour of Lucie Moore, a founding volunteer and Azalea’s Chair of Trustees for 9 years. All funds raised from both events will go towards creating our mobile coffee van to empower survivors into an independent future. Find out more here: https://www.azalea.org.uk/beans-on-board
