LAST DAY TO DONATE – SUNDAY 13th APRIL
Your generous donation of Easter Eggs last year delighted the women helped by Azalea, our charity partner in Luton. Following that success, we are running the collection again this year! Can you buy an Easter egg to give to the women again? And if possible, add a short message of friendship and support  Collection box in church from 1st March.
“More Tea Anyone?”

Imagine hearing the clink of vintage crockery and seeing a mouth-watering array of plumptious scones, delicate sandwiches and delicious cakes, all laid out in our own St Helen’s Church.
What could be a better way to spend a May afternoon?

Bookings are now open for the Haven Hope Afternoon Tea,
hosted at St Helen’s Church, Wheathampstead, AL4 8AA

Tickets are £20 and all proceeds go towards funding much-needed work to support young people’s mental health. Places are limited so please click here to book your tickets now.

You are invited to our charity partner, Azalea’s Brewing for Good benefit dinner on 15th May 2025 to raise vital funds for our Beans on Board Mobile Coffee Van. Join us to gain a flavour of the coffee van, glimpse the impact it will have, and even be in with a chance of winning a prize or two yourself.

Expect to celebrate, expect to be cherished and expect to launch with us, this brand new venture that will bring hope and relief to survivors of sex trafficking across Bedfordshire (as well as seriously good coffee to deserving customers!) Buy your ticket HERE

Can’t wait until then? Then join us at our prelude event, a Clothes Swap on the 26th April 2025, as we swap clothes and stories, and enjoy coffee and cake in honour of Lucie Moore, a founding volunteer and Azalea’s Chair of Trustees for 9 years. All funds raised from both events will go towards creating our mobile coffee van to empower survivors into an independent future. Find out more here: https://www.azalea.org.uk/beans-on-board

Warning Notice: Scam Alert

We have been informed of recent scam activity targeting members of our congregation by impersonating members of the clergy or ministry team. The scammers say they need your help buying gift cards for a church activity or a surprise staff appreciation gift (so you don’t tell anyone) — and that you need to act quickly. Please remain vigilant – we would never ask you to buy vouchers or gift cards. Do not click on any link or respond. If in doubt, speak to the person concerned to ask if it is genuine.
