As the days get shorter and temperatures cool, there is a warm welcome for you in St Helen’s Church.

  • Feeling left out because you can’t watch our Online Sunday Services? Come to church for a matinee screening.
  • Would you like a face-to-face chat with friends? Book a table for up to 6 people at Coffee in the Chancel, now open on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Don’t forget to turn your clocks back next weekend. British Summer Time ends on Sunday 25th October.

Matinee Screening of Our Online Sunday Service

Some cinemas may be closing but you can still attended a matinee.
Where? St Helen’s on 22nd October at 2pm.

What? A video recording of the service first shown online on Sunday 18th October introduced by John Grace.

Who? All welcome. This will be especially helpful for those who find it hard to attend morning services and those without online facilities at home. Also for those who want to wave at their friends.

Is it safe? Social distancing will be in place with alternate rows of pews in use, and hand sanitiser available on entry and exit. Please wear a mask. No refreshments will be served, bring your own.

For the hard of hearing? The video will be shown in the nave and the loop will be available. There will also be written sheets available to follow the service for those with hearing difficulties.

A Warm Welcome Awaits You
at Coffee in the Chancel!

Coffee in the Chancel has reopened on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9.00 – 11.30am subject to current government restrictions. We have spaced the tables and are serving our usual barista coffees (in paper cups) with our masks on! Come and enjoy a hot drink and lovely baked goodies.

We are taking payment on card reader. We have set up the big table in the crossing and you can book this and meet as a group of 6 by ringing or texting Hilary on 07712 791625.
