Our 10am Parish Communion Service continues our Creationtide Sermon Series.  Join us as we examine and reflect on our place and role in the world that God has made.  In the absence of a Priest the service this week will be “Communion by Extension” taken by one of our Reader Ministers.

If you are not able to join us on-site, you can still join us online. Click here or on the image for the Youtube link or click here to view from our website.

St Peter’s Praise at 10am tomorrow – do join us for our informal and joy-filled service!

Please note : No Praise service in November. Instead, all are welcome at our special Remembrance Sunday Outdoor Service at the War Memorial, Wheathampstead. Sunday 14th at 10.45am.

Come and discuss the sermon at our new group
“Following the Message”

Meeting in St Helen’s Church at 11am
(PLEASE NOTE EARLY START ON MONDAY 11th OCTOBER)

for one hour of lively discussion about the sermon at the previous day’s 10am service.

Come and grab a drink before at Coffee in the Chancel.  You don’t have to commit to every week – just come when you can.  You don’t need to be an advanced theologian, or have any previous bible study experience, just come along and tell us what you think!

And, YES, of course you can still come even if not heard the message on Sunday! (though it’s easy to catch up on line).

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the Birthday party for Coffee in the Chancel has been postponed.  Once a new date has been arranged we will advertise it again.  We are sorry for the inevitable disappointment this will cause.
“Have your say – Q&A” – Sun 17th Oct, 11:15am (after the 10am service).
You will have seen on screen or in church that the choir are singing from the chancel accompanied by a digital organ we have on loan / hire.  Come and hear why we’ve made the change, the advantages it gives us and share your views.  Rob, Simon and Richard  will be on hand to answer your questions.  If you can’t make the meeting, or you’re too shy to ask a question yourself,  you can click here to send your comment / question by email.

All are invited to

Deanery Evensong
at St Nicholas Church, Harpenden
on Sunday 17th Oct at 6:30pm

The service will feature the combined choirs of different local churches.  All are invited as a sign of our unity with other local Anglican churches.
